Activity 1

The quote try to explain how do the ads work, as you can see, it uses the subjective language, which describes itself by using different artistic elements such as image, various colors, etc. In this manner, show us the hard work before make an ad, and how the ads make a fantastics worlds for the people and with that make a fake promises "avoid the concrete promise", the target of the promise is create a new expectation of the product. 

In this case I agree with the quote, but the other part of the quote "cultivate the delightfully vague" explain how work the ads, maybe explain how the work with the lies for sell a product who maybe we never need but we want for make better our life. The example for this case i the apple product because maybe you don't need this brand but the ads work for make the better ideas of the product.
